Leakes Road Shared Path, Rockbank

Multipro were employed to remove and modify existing an existing pathway on the Leakes Road bridge which passes over the Western Freeway.

Existing signs, shrubbery, fencing etc. had to be cleared before works could commence. Then, the removal of existing footpath, kerb and channel, road pavement and construction of a new three-meter wide concrete paving shared path complete with trowelled drain took place. Sawcutting had to be used in the demolition process with any exposed reo on the bridge requiring epoxy coating. Pram crossings were added at the ramp exit and entrance from the freeway as well as modifications to be carried out on an existing expansion joint.
